SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C541

SUMMER ROAD AND SUMNER ROAD, WALSHAM LE WILLOWS AND HEPWORTH

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the:

• C541 Summer Road, Walsham le Willows from the access to The Stables for 600 metres southbound.

• C541 Sumner Road, Hepworth from the access to The Stables for 800 metres northbound.

This Is to facilitate overhead cabling work. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Summer Road, the A143, Walsham Road, Sumner Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 16/07/2024 from 9:30am - 3:30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Sunbelt Rentals. Tel: 0370 050 0792.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6502 LISBURN ROAD, NEWMARKET

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U6502 Lisburn Road, Newmarket from no. 33 for 40 metres south eastbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the Lisburn Road, Rous Road, Old Station Road, Vicarage Road, Lisburn Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 16/07/2024 - 18/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U5914 BRIAR LANE, RICKINGHALL INFERIOR

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5914 Briar Lane, Rickinghall Inferior to facilitate installation of duct and testing and cabling for fibre works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A143, Calkewood Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 16/07/2024 - 31/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4451 KERRY AVENUE, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4451 Kerry Avenue, Ipswich from Lovetofts Drive to Lovetofts Drive Service Road to facilitate footway works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Lovetofts Drive, Antrim Road, Lovetofts Drive and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/07/2024 - 17/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4923 MILL LANE, THURSTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4923 Mill Lane, Thurston from Mill Lane Cottage for 55 metres northbound to facilitate the installation, replacement, removal and disconnection of underground electrical cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Mill Lane, Barton Road, Thurston Road Great Barton, Pakenham Road, Thurston Road Pakenham and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/07/2024 - 19/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1021 ORWELL ROAD, FELIXSTOWE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1021 Orwell Road, Felixstowe from flats 1 -3 for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Ranelagh Road, Hamilton Gardens, Hamilton Road, Victoria Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/07/2024 - 17/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1141 STOWS HILL, COCKFIELD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1141 Stows Hill, Cockfield from Santarda House for 60 metres southbound to facilitate telecommunications pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1141, the B1071, the B1115, the A134, the A1141 and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate on 14/07/2024 from 8am -12 midday but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8401 NEDGING ROAD, NEDGING WITH NAUGHTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8401 Nedging Road, Nedging with Naughton from Clematis to Windermere to facilitate telecommunications pole replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Nedging Road, the B1078, the B1115 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 15/07/2024 from 9.30am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3630 BEACONSFIELD DRIVE, WOODBRIDGE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3630 Beaconsfield Drive, Woodbridge from the junction with Castle Street for 60 metres northbound to facilitate fibre ducting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Castle Street, St Johns Hill, Victoria Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 05/07/2024 - 18/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE F8944 HOWE WAY, ACTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the F8944 Howe Way, Acton in the following phases:

1. from Lime Walk to the side of no. 2 Howe Way

2. from no. 2 - no. 11.

This is to facilitate excavation and installation of telecommunications fibre. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Lime Walk, Howe Way and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/07/2024 -19/07/2024 from 8am - 6pm but, If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2412 BRIDGE STREET, KELSALE CUM CARLTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2412 Bridge Street, Kelsale Cum Carlton from The Vines for 50 metres eastbound to facilitate the installation of a gas pressure post. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1121, Clayhills Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/07/2024 -19/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1102 WORLINGTON ROAD, MILL STREET AND HIGH STREET AND THE U6035 NEW STREET, BARTON MILLS AND MILDENHALL

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

• the B1102 Worlington Road, Barton Mills from no. 22 to River Lark Bridge

• the B1102 Mill Street, Mildenhall

• the B1102 High Street, Mildenhall from the junction with St Andrews Street to the junction with New Street

• the U6035 New Street Mildenhall.

This is to facilitate the clearing of ducts and chambers.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1101, the A11, Turnpike Road, the B1085, the B1102 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/07/2024 - 19/07/2024 from 8pm - 5am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C210 YOXFORD ROAD, WALPOLE AND BRAMFIELD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads to facilitate the reinstatement of a trench:

1. the C210 Yoxford Road, Walpole from 130 metres south of the junction with Walpole Lane for 40 metres southbound

2. the C210 Yoxford Road, Bramfield from 250 metres south of the junction with Walpole Lane for 160 metres southbound.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Walpole Lane, Peasenhall Road, Sibton Green and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 16/07/2024 from 8am until 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C358 CHAPEL ROAD, BUCKLESHAM

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C358 Chapel Road, Bucklesham from the junction with Kirton Road for 50 metres westbound to facilitate telecommunications pole replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Kirton Road. Bucklesham Heath, Trimley Road, Innocence Lane, Brightwell Road, Chapel Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 15/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3101 MILL LANE, TRIMLEY ST MARTIN

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3101 Mill Lane, Trimley St Martin from the junction with Old Kirton Road for 50 metres westbound to facilitate installation of fibre cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be St Martins Green, Old Kirton Road, High Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/07/2024 - 19/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
