WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICES

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 247 BRADMEAD, BATTERSEA

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH

hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping up of the highways described in the First Schedule.

THE ORDER IS MADE to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning consent under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 by the London Borough of Wandsworth under local planning authority reference 2020/2837.

COPIES OF THE ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED FREE OF CHARGE between 09:00 and 17:00 during a period of 28 days commencing on Thursday 4 July 2024 at Wandsworth Town Hall, SW18 2PU, and copies of the made order and plan can also be viewed online at: https://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/road-safety/traffic-management-orders-tmos/

ANY PERSON aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of Thursday 4 July 2024, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

THE FIRST SCHEDULE Areas of Highway to be Stopped Up

1. Land in the south-western section of Bradmead hatched black on the Plan No. 4523 005 which is approximately 74 square metres, measuring 12.27m in a direction north to south at its longest point, and 6.04m in a direction east to west at its widest point.

2. Land in the south-eastern section of Bradmead hatched block on Plan No. 4523 005 which is approximately 72 square metres, measuring 12.55m in a direction north to south at its longest point and 5.76m in a direction east to west at its widest point.

THE SECOND SCHEDULE

The Location Bradmead, SW8 4AG

The Development Demolition of all existing buildings and construction of 4 buildings ranging from double basement and ground plus up to 12 storeys to ground plus up to 20 storeys, comprising student accommodation and associated amenity areas (Sui-generis); office and enterprise business accommodation (Use Class B1); retail / cafe unit (Use Class A1); drinking establishment (Use Class A4) and other ancillary uses; public realm improvements; hard and soft landscaping works; plant equipment; servicing facilities including cycle parking and other associated works. An Environmental Statement has been submitted with the application under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 (as amended).

RANDALL CLOSE AND VILLIERS COURT

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping up of the highways described in the First Schedule.

THE ORDER IS MADE to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning consent under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 by the London Borough of Wandsworth under local planning authority reference 2020/0635.

Areas of Highway to be Stopped Up

1. Land on Randall Close approximately 60m east of its junction with Westbridge Road which is hatched in black and numbered 1 on Plan. No. RAN-HPL-XX-XX-D-S-0001 C02, which is approximately 414 square metres, and measures 59m in a direction west to east and 7m in a direction north to south.

2. Land immediately to the rear and west of Villiers Court which is hatched black and numbered 2 on Plan No. RAN-HPL-XX-XX-D-S-0001 C02 which is approximately 559 square metres, measuring 48m in a direction north to south and 25m in a direction west to east.

THE SECOND SCHEDULE

The Location

Land on Randall Close to the east of its junction with Westbridge Road and land immediately to the rear and west of Villiers Court, Battersea, SW11

The Development

Demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment of site to include erection of three buildings between four and six storeys (fronting Battersea Bridge Road and Randall Close) to provide 106 residential units including affordable and market housing with associated public open space, landscaping, car, and cycle parking, refuse storage, plant, and amenity space.

WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE -STREATHBOURNE ROAD SW17

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Streathbourne Road to facilitate Thames Water Utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Streathbourne Road at the junction with Balham High Road. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council's Network Management section - telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 15 July 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 30 March 2025.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE - ATHERTON STREET and ABERCROMBIE STREET SW11

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Atherton Street and Abercrombie Street to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Atherton Street at the junction of Battersea Park Road. Whilst the said works are taking place the one-way restriction will be suspended on Abercrombie Street from the junction of Atherton Street to the junction of Battersea Park Road and on Atherton Street from the junction of Abercrombie Street to the junction with Battersea Park Road to maintain access. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council's Network Management section - telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 20 July 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 21 July 2024.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE - CHURCH LANE SW17

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Church Lane to facilitating the holding of procession.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Church Lane from the junction of Mitcham Road to the junction of Gassiot Road. No person shall cause any vehicle to enter or proceed on Eswyn Road from the junction of Vant Road to the junction of Church Lane. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council's Network Management section - telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 17 July 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 17 July 2024.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Meath Street to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Meath Street at the junction with Battersea Park Road. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council's Network Management section - telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 15 July 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 16 July 2024.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE - PALMERSTON WAY SW8

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Palmerston Way to facilitate new Development works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Palmerston Way will be closed at the junctions of Havelock Terrace and Bradmead, Whilst the said works are taking place the one-way restriction will be suspended to maintain access in Bradmead and Palmerston Way. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council's Network Management section - telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 15 July 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 22 July 2024.
