New Bridge Street & Mirabel Street - Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic To Facilitate Inspection Works On Apartment Complex

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC139140568: The City of Manchester (New Bridge Street & Mirabel Street, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on New Bridge Street from Trinity Way to Greengate and on Mirabel Street from New Bridge Street to Bresyln Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Trinity Way, Blackfriars Road, Gravel Lane, Greengate. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate inspection works on apartment complex. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 22nd July 2024 to 1st September 2024. The order shall come into operation on 22nd July 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
