(Easthorpe Road, Copford)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Easthorpe Road, Copford in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 280m south west of its junction with Well Lane for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th July 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03063990180/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Alternative routes are available via

1. A12 Southbound, Southbound Slip To Feering From A12, London Road, A12 Northbound, A12 J A120/B1408 Leave NE, A120 J A12 West Roundabout, A120 J A12 Between Roundabouts, A120 J A12 East Roundabout, London Road, A12 Southbound (with access only into Easthorpe Road).

2. Copford Green, School Road, London Road, A12 Southbound (with access only into Easthorpe Road, Rectory Road).

The Order will come into effect on 11th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hawthorn Avenue, Colchester)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway)

Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Hawthorn Avenue, Colchester in Colchester City, from its junction with Bromley Road for a distance of approximately 190m in a south westerly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 35 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2365449 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new zebra crossing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Avon Way, Longridge, Bromley Road and vice versa (with access only into Hawthorn Avenue). The Order will come into effect on 11th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hythe Hill, Colchester)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hythe Hill, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Connaught Close for a distance of approximately 25m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03159956332 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial work works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

(Temporary Introduction of No Right Turn) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a no right hand turn from London Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, into Lexden Hospital Entrance. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 30th July 2024 for 1 night (19:00 - 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD03163900486 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ferrule repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via London Road, Tollgate Roundabout.

The Order will come into effect on 11th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Plough Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 75m south of its junction with Morella Close for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2024 for 1 night (23:45-07:30), or where stated on a valid permit (KL735COC-60-62-030824 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). (The Green, Tendring)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Green, Tendring in the District of Tendring from a point approximately 80m south east of the junction with Heath Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30056884669 - UK Power Networks).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, Thorpe Road, Colchester Road, A133, Bromley Road, High Street, Frating Road, Harwich Road, A120 and vice versa (with access only into Clacton Road, Mistley Road, Heath Road, The Green, Clacton Road, School Road, The Street, Thorpe Road and Tendring Road).

The Order will come into effect on 11th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Villa Road, Stanway)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Villa Road, Stanway in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 115m south east of its junction with Chapel Road for a distance of 135m in a south easterly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coppice Road, Alresford in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Laxton Road for a distance of approximately 355m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2363929 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully and frame replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Laxton Road, Coach Road, St Osyth Road, Station Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 27th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Copt Hall Lane, Little Wigborough)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Copt Hall Lane, Little Wigborough in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 500m south east of its junction with Peldon Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03164081231 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stoptap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Landermere Road, Thorpe-le-Soken in the District of Tendring, from its junctions with High Street/Abbey Street Roundabout for a distance of approximately 45m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th July 2024 for 1 night (19:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA76778525 -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Openreach.

The Order came into effect on 27th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Lower Green, Wakes Colne)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Green, Wakes Colne in the City of Colchester District, from a point of approximately 160m north west of its junction with Bures Road for a distance of approximately 40m in northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03164145276 - Anglian Water). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Ipswich Road, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with A120 for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2024 for 5 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (XJ002TDG19174-WHP3UK-SL3 - Hutchison 3G Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole installation works are undertaken by Hutchison 3G Ltd.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Alresford in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 5m north of its junction with Poundfield Close for a distance approximately 45m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2024 for 1 night (00:01-07:00) or where stated on a valid permit (KL701COC-57-2-210424 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while track repair works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Peters Street, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 40m west of its junction with Middle Mill Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310749741 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) &

(Temporary Introduction of a 40MPH Speed Restriction) (No.10) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Tendring/City of Colchester as specified in the Schedule.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on the above lengths of road, for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

3. To temporarily introduce a 40MPH Speed restriction in that length of Colchester Road, Elmstead/Clingoe Hill, Colchester (both directions) from the junction with Tye Road to the junction with B1027 a distance of approximately 2230m.

"The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time" restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time" restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 27th June 2024 exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

1. To temporarily close that length of Wellesley Road, Colchester in the City Colchester, from a point approximately 190m north east of its junction with Creffield Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a north easterly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only.
