(Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Foot Passengers) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to close, temporarily, to pedestrians that length of Public Right of Way 363 (Lamb Hill) which extends from Public Right of Way 363 (Footpath from Malvern Road to Lamb Hill) generally southwards for 186 metres.
The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the public right of way and becomes operative from 15th July 2024 for a maximum period of six months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 15th July 2024 and 26th July 2024).
Alternative Route: Public Right of Way 364 (Lamb Hill), Public Right of Way 365 (Lamb Hill), Public Right of Way 366 (Strawberry Lane), Public Right of Way 366A (Strawberry Lane), Crews Hole Road, Public Right of Way 363 (Lamb Hill) (part unaffected) and vice versa

(Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) (Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Foot Passengers) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to close, temporarily, to vehicles and pedestrians the lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
Exemption will be provided in the Order for vehicles and pedestrians requiring necessary access to premises situated on, adjacent to or accessible only from those closed lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and becomes operative from 15th July 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between the times and dates specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice).

Schedule 1 - Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles
1. Gas Lane - from Freestone Road to Silverthorne Lane
2. Silverthorne Lane - from Avon Street to Gas Lane
Schedule 2 - Durations
1. The initial closure will take place between 15th July 2024 and 23rd September 2024. Additional closures of between 1 day and 1 week’s duration will take place within the period between 24th September 2024 and 31st December 2025
2. The initial closure will take place overnight between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily from 15th July 2024 to 9th September 2024. Additional closures of between 1 day and 1 week’s duration will occur within the period between 10th September 2024 and 31st December 2025

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
Exemption will be provided in the Order for vehicles requiring necessary access to the University of Bristol private car park situated on that closed length of Osborne Villas as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
