Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.

Derby City Council (Derby Royal Car Park Access) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.146) Order 2024

Notice Is Hereby Given that Derby City Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf.

The purpose of the Order will be to introduce: No Waiting (At Any Time)

• Kingsway Boulevard on both sides from the Kingsway roundabout to its junction with Dumfries Drive, including the parking bay on its eastern side opposite numbers 34 and 36 and the access to the proposed hospital car park and excluding the remaining off street parking bays on its eastern side.

• Caithness Crescent on both sides from its junction with Kingsway Boulevard to its junction with Dumfries Drive.

A copy of the proposed Order together with maps which show the definitive extents of the proposal, a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for proposing the Order and the Order being amended, may be inspected online at https://www.derby.gov.uk/tro

Objections to the proposal stating your grounds of objection should be sent, in writing, to Traffic & Transportation, Communities and Place, Derby City Council, The Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS or by email to traffic.management@derby.gov.uk to be received no later than 26th July 2024.
