THE A120 TRUNK ROAD (PANNERS INTERCHANGE, BRAINTREE, ESSEX) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) has made an Order on the A120 Trunk Road, in the County of Essex to enable local authority resurfacing works near Great Notley Roundabout to be carried out in safety.

The works are expected to last for 6 nights (Mon to Fri, 9pm to 5am) starting on or after Monday 15 July 2024.

The effect of the Order will be to close the A120 Panners Interchange westbound –

• exit slip road – diverting traffic to exit at B1256 London Road, Notley then continue via the B1256 London Road, and
• entry slip road including the dedicated entry slip road from the A131 – diverting traffic via the B1256 London Road to enter the A120 eastbound at B1256 London Road, Notley continue to Galleys Corner Roundabout then return via the A120 westbound to Panners Interchange and continue.

The closures (which will not apply to works, emergency service or traffic officer vehicles) and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

The Order will come into force on 8 July 2024 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed, or for a maximum duration of eighteen months, whichever is the earlier.
