What is happening?

Borough Of Rochdale

(Bowness Road And Wythburn Road, Middleton)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles And Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2024

Notice Is Hereby Given that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along;

i. Bowness Road, from its junction with Windermere Road to its junction with Broomfield Crescent,

ii. Wythburn Road, for its entire length,

The Order is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the carriageway. The Order will be operative from 09.00 hours until 16.00 hours each day from the 29th July 2024 until 19th August 2024 as required. Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed on street when the closure is in operation.

(Darnhill Festival Parade, Heywood)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles) Order 2024

Notice Is Hereby Given that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-

l Argyle Street - from its easterly junction with Sutherland Road to its westerly junction with Sutherland Road,

l Argyle Parade - for its entire length,

l Sutherland Road - from its easterly junction with Argyle Street to its westerly junction with Argyle Street

The Order is required to facilitate the safe holding of the Darnhill Festival Parade. The Order will be operative from 11:45 hours until 12:00 hours on 6th July 2024. Due to the nature and duration of the event it is not necessary for alternative routes to be in place.

(Kingsway, Kenyon Lane, Lever Walk And Birchwood Road, Middleton)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles And Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2024

Notice Is Hereby Given that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along;

i. Kingsway, from its junction with Andover Avenue/Mainway East (Roundabout) to its junction with Hardfield Road/Mount Road (Roundabout),

ii. Kenyon Lane, for its entire length,

ii. Lever Walk, for its entire length,

iv. Birchwood Road, from its junction with Kenyon Lane to its junction with Monmouth Street

The Order is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the carriageway. The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours each day from the 27th July 2024 until 17th August 2024 as required. Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed on street when the closure is in operation.

(Cherwell Avenue, Clemshaw Close, Margaret Street & Lyn Grove, Heywood)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles And Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2024

Notice Is Hereby Given that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along;

i. Cherwell Avenue, for its entire length,

ii. Clemshaw Close, for its entire length,

iii. Margaret Street, for its entire length,

iv. Lyn Grove, for its entire length,

The Order is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the carriageway. The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours each day from the 1st August 2024 until 22nd August 2024 as required. Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed on street when the closure is in operation.

(Magdala Street And Wolsey Street, Heywood)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles And Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2024

Notice Is Hereby Given that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along;

i. Magdala Street, for its entire length,

ii. Wolsey Street, for its entire length,

iii. The Order is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the carriageway.

iv. The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours each day from the 31st July 2024 until 21st August 2024 as required. 

Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed on street when the closure is in operation.

(Nowell Road, Middleton)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles And Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2024

Notice Is Hereby Given that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and waiting at any time along Nowell Road, for its entire length.

The Order is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the carriageway. The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours each day from the 31st July 2024 until 21st August 2024 as required. Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed on street when the closure is in operation.
