NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Scholes Road, Jackson Bridge from its junction with Hepworth Road to a point just past the White Horse Pub PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 24 July 2024 and will remain in force until 25 July 2024 between the hours of 23:59 to 06:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Springdale Avenue, Thornton Lodge from its junction with Manchester Road to a point 20 metres into Springdale Avenue

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Shelley Woodhouse Lane, Shelley from a point outside Cliff Hill Farm to approximately 70 metres North towards Huddersfield Road

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath intends not less than seven days from the day of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Footpath COL 141/50 Slaithwaite from its junction with Bank Gate to its junction with Holme Lane adjacent Slaithwaite Reservoir, PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bank Gate, Slaithwaite from its junction with Nabbs Lane to a point approximately 40 metres South of property no. 11 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(LONGROYD LANE, LONGROYD BRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in a westerly direction in that length of Longroyd Lane from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Paddock Foot (traffic in an easterly direction only).
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:-
Diversion 1 - Manchester Road, Outcote Bank, Bow Street, Castlegate, Trinity Street, Gledholt Road, Heaton Road, Church Street, Market Street;
Diversion 2 - Manchester Road, St Thomas’ Road, Folly Hall, Chapel Hill, Castlegate, Trinity Street, Gledholt Road, Heaton Road, Church Street, Market Street.
The closure which came into operation on Monday, 20th May 2024 has been extended and will remain in force for a further period until 27 July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(WHITE ROSE AVENUE, DALTON, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Dalton as follows:-
Road Closure
White Rose Avenue - at a point outside property no. 13
Point Closure
Myers Croft - at its junction with White Rose Avenue
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday, 9th July 2024 between 11:30 - 15:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
