(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 1st July 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bissoe. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th July 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Hicks Mill To Landsmead Cottage, Bissoe between the property named Lake View and the junction of Bissoe Hill.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 25th May 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Higher Penpol, Mawnan Smith for its entire length.

The Order which commenced on the 3rd June 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 12th July 2024.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out construction works.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Falmouth. This prohibition is necessary for defective cover repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd August 2024 to 3rd August 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

This prohibition is necessary for sewer cleaning works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th July 2024 to 17th July 2024.
