What is happening?

BATH & NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL

(THTTC3509 B3130 THE CHALKS, CHEW MAGNA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of B3130 The Chalks, Chew Magna from its junction with Tunbridge Road extending east for approximately 52 metres. USRN: 47916432.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to rectify a defect on the 24th July 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

This is anticipated to be for TWO DAYS.

(THTTC3512 TOWNSEND, EAST HARPTREE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Townsend, East Harptree from its junction with B3114 Coley Road extending north east to a point outside the property known as Townsend Cottage. USRN: 47920223.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to lay a new gas service on the 8th July 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Townsend (remainder) – Shrowle – South Widcombe – Perry Mead Road – Coley Road – B3114 Coley Road – vice versa.

(THTTC3518 CULVERS ROAD, KEYNSHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Culvers Road, Keynsham from a point outside 21 Culvers Road. USRN: 47902893.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to carry out lead pipe replacement on the 9th July 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for THREE DAYS.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Culvers Road (remainder) – St Ladoc Road – Cranmore Avenue – Culvers Road – vice versa.
