Arundel Street - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Arundel Street) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.83) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 8th July 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
ARUNDEL STREET (EASTBOUND)
From its junction with Holbrook Road to opposite Murefield Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate frame and cover repair works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 20:00 on 8th July 2024 to 06:00 on 9th July 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Arundel Street Roundabout, Holbrook Road, Bradford Junction Roundabout, Victoria Road North, Fratton Bridge Roundabout, Fratton Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
