(TEMPORARY PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Wansbeck District Public Bridleway No 105, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
From a point 190 metres south of the Country Park Visitors Centre on the north bank of the Pegwhistle Burn in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 20 metres, crossing the Stoney Jacket Bridge, to a point 200 metres south of the Country Park Visitors Centre, on the south bank of the Pegwhistle Burn.
There is no alternative route available.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th July 2024 until the 26th July 2024 or until the works are complete.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council, Highways Operations in the interests of public safety to facilitate works to replace the bridge over the Pegwhistle Burn.
