Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force on the U6548 Footway at the rear of 1-8 Maple Close Bedlington from outside the rear of number 1 Maple Close heading in a northerly direction for a length of 20 metres in the County of Northumberland, because works are being executed on or near the Footway
Temporary Footway Closure:
A temporary footway closure will be in force on the again the U6548 Footway at the rear of 1-8 Maple Close Bedlington from outside the rear of number 1 Maple Close heading in a northerly direction for a length of 20 metres (“the Footway”) in the County of Northumberland. There is no alternative route for traffic.
It is expected that the footway will only remain closed from 29th June 2024 until the 2nd July 2024 but it will be closed at all times during that period.

The closure has been requested by OCU Group on behalf of Northern Powergrid to excavate and locate a faulted cable and restore customer service.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this order.
This Order came into force on 29th June 2024 and will remain in force the 12th July 2024.
