What is happening?

WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL

(U5066 CROGLINHURST, U5035 AND U5033 WALNA SCAR ROAD,

SEATHWAITE)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:

1.U5066 Croglinhurst, from its junction with the U5065, extending in a north easterly direction for approx 815m.

There is no suitable alternative route for vehicles.

Duration: From 23rd July 2024 for approx. 2 days (Ref: TTROW/10528)

2.U5035 Seathwaite, from its junction with Walna Scar Road, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 635m.

There is no suitable alternative route for vehicles.

Duration: From 27th July 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROW/10529)

3.U5033 Walna Scar Road, Seathwaite, from its junction with the U5032, extending in a north easterly then easterly direction for approx. 860m.

There is no suitable alternative route for vehicles.

Duration: From 31st July 2024 for approx. 2 days (Ref: TTROW/10530)

The Order will come into operation on 23rd July 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months.

However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
