What is happening?

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Low Lane, Draughton, Order 2024, No. 214

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Low Lane, Draughton for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 10/07/24 & 10/09/24, due to filming works. However, it is envisaged that the restriction will be in force for 3 days during this timescale which are expected to be 10/07/24 to 12/07/24 inclusive. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Burnmoor Crescent, Ingleton, Order 2024, No. 240

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Burnmoor Crescent, Ingleton for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 18/07/24 & 12/09/24, due to Cadent Gas works to replace the gas main. However, the max duration of this Order is until 31/12/24. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. 30 & 40 MPH Speed Limits, A65 new road Ingleton, Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph on any length of road specified in Part 1 & in excess of 40 mph on any length of road specified in Part 2:-

Part 1 - 30mph Speed Limit (A65) New Road, Ingleton, from a point 65 metres northwest of its junction with Bentham Road to a point 85 metres southeast of its junction with Raber Top Lane. Total distance of 835 metres.

Part 2 - 40mph Speed Limit (A65) New Road, Ingleton, from a point 85 metres southeast of the centreline of the junction with Raber Top Lane in a southerly direction to a point 30 metres north of the centreline of the junction with Pinecroft. Total distance of 630 metres. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Ingleton Library, Community Centre, Main Street, Ingleton, Carnforth, LA6 3HG during normal office hours from 04/07/24 until 26/07/24 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.
