NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Booth Lane, Middlewich

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. Prohibition of traffic - Booth Lane, Middlewich - From the junction of Cross Lane to the junction of Tetton Lane.

The alternative route will be via Booth Lane, London Road, Middlewich Road, Middlewich Roundabout, Old Mill Road, Inner Relief Road Roundabout, Congleton Road, Spark Lane, Sandbach Road, Wolstenholme Elmy Way, Holmes Chapel Road, Marsh Lane, Station Road, Chester Road, A54 Holmes Chapel Roundabout, Holmes Chapel Road Roundabout, Kinderton Street, Leadsmithy Street, Lewin Street and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 28 October 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Sunday 3 November If you have any enquiries relating to the works, please contact M & J Evans Construction on 01543 373 766.
