THE BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL (VARIOUS ROADS) VARIOUS TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS (AMENDMENT NO.2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Blackpool Borough Council on 25 June 2024 made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35, 53 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the “Act of 1984”), and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 (the “Act of 2004”), and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police pursuant to Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 and The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Borough of Blackpool) Order 2003 (Statutory Instrument No 2677) and all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to introduce the following amendments:
The amendment of the definition of ‘Passenger Carrying Vehicles’ across various orders to standardise the definition across Blackpool Borough Council traffic regulation orders.
A copy of the Order, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Customer First, Municipal Buildings, Corporation Street, Blackpool, FY1 1NF, please telephone 01253 477477 to make an appointment to view the documents.
Any person wishing to challenge the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act or that any requirements of that, or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may apply to the High Court within six weeks following 25 June 2024.
