Weaver Street in Winsford Dene Ward

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Winsford Dene Ward to enable Gas mains replacement works to be carried out by Cadent.

Weaver Street - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

The Order will come into force on 8th July 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 3 weeks to complete.

Alternative routes for through traffic - Traffic should proceed via Weaver Street, Dingle Lane, Dingle Lane Roundabout, New High Street, Wharton Road Roundabout.

Norley Road - Footway Reconstruction in Weaver & Cuddington Ward

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Weaver & Cuddington Ward to enable Footway Reconstruction works to be carried out by Cheshire West And Chester Council.

Norley Road: FULL ROAD CLOSURE (from its junction with A556 Round Tower Lodge to just beyond Hadrian Way) 08:00 -18:00hrs, reduced to a one way closure overnight and weekends - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

Witton Street Northwich in Northwich Witton Ward

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Northwich Witton Ward to enable sewer repair works to be carried out by United Utilities.

Witton Street, Old Warrington Road, Albion Road, Venables Road - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

The Order will come into force on 29th July 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 2 weeks to complete.

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL

A49 Warrington Road, B5142 Sandy Lane,

Well Lane Acton Bridge/Weaverham

(50mph Speed Limit) Proposed Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make an Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers.

1. The effect of the order will be to introduce a 50mph speed limit on A49 Warrington Road, B5142 Sandy Lane and Well Lane. The new proposed limits are set out in the Schedule below.

2. Full details showing the proposals are contained in the draft order which, together with a map showing the affected area; the Council's statement of reasons for making the order and a copy of this Notice, may be examined during the usual office hours at the following offices;

• Winsford Area Highways Office, Browning Way, Woodford Park, Winsford, CW7 2RB;

• Wyvern House, The Drumber, Winsford, Cheshire, CW7 1AH.

3. All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made, to the undersigned quoting reference PTRO785 by 29/07/2024.

Schedule - 50 Mph Speed Limit

A49 Warrington Road - from a point 55 metres south from its junction with Sandy Lane to the existing 50mph speed limit.

B5142 Sandy Lane - from the existing 30mph speed limit to its junction with A49 Warrington Road.

Well Lane - from the existing 20mph speed limit to its junction with Sandy Lane.
