(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle to proceed. Southbound carriageway of the Lancaster Circus Queensway Underpass.
Prohibition of the right turn from James Watt Queensway southbound carriageway to Dale End.
The temporary Order is required to manage traffic safely during building works on adjacent premises.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Saturday 20th July 2024 and will remain in force for a period of 12 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
