(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which  will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Warden Street from its junction with Canklow Road to the end of the cul de sac from Monday 15th. July 2024 until Saturday 20th. December 2025.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Castle Avenue, Castle View and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Housing development).

(TEMPORARY 30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT RESTRICTION)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily suspend part of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and reduce from 60 miles per hour to 30 miles per hour the speed limit for motor vehicles travelling along that part of A634 Blyth Road Maltby from the northwestern kerb line of Gypsy Lane for a distance of approximately 800m in a south easterly direction from Monday 8th July until Friday 12th July 2024.

The reason for the revocations is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Safety of site personnel undertaking water repairs in the carriageway).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Abbey Lane from a point approximately 10m east of its junction with High Hooton Road/ Hooton Lane for a distance of approximately 200m in an easterly direction on Tuesday 9th July and Wednesday 10th July 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route is via High Hooton Road, Peak Lane, Carr Lane, A631 Rotherham Road, A634 Blyth Road, Gipsy Lane, Abbey Lane and vice versa.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the three parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice for periods of time between Monday 8th July and Friday 19th July 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected by the Order is via local neighbouring streets except for cul de sacs. The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (telecommunication works).

Notice is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council acting in its capacity as traffic authority for the Borough of Rotherham has made the above-mentioned Order on the 3rd. July 2024 which shall come into effect on the 8th. July 2024.

Notice of the proposal to make the Order was published in the Rotherham Advertiser on 16th May 2024. The effect of the order will be to introduce an unadopted access regulated by the Council off Westgate, Rotherham which will serve as a restricted access road. The proposed days and hours of operation, the maximum period for which vehicles may wait and the scale of charges that will apply are specified in the Schedule to this notice.

1.  Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A618 Mansfield Road from its junction with A57 Aston Way to its junction with Waleswood Road from Monday 15th. July until Wednesday 31st. July 2024 between 8pm and 5am only.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via School Road, The Square, Wales Road, Station Road, Kiveton Lane, A57 worksop Road, Aston Way and vice versa.

2.    Temporarily suspend part of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and to reduce from 50 miles hour to 30 miles per hour the speed limit for motor vehicles travelling along that part of A57 Aston Way from its junction with the J31 M1 roundabout to its junction with B6053 Chesterfield Road from Monday 15th. July until Wednesday 31st. July 2024 between 8pm and 5am only.

The reason for the prohibition and suspension is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Carriageway resurfacing).

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Carriageway resurfacing).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the eight parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice between Monday 15th. July and Friday 9th. August 2024 at off peak hours.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Carriageway resurfacing).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Woodman Roundabout, phased closures of the circulatory junction to allow through traffic using temporary traffic signals (the alternative route will be via opposing side of roundabout).

(ii)   Warren Vale Road from its junction with the Woodman Roundabout to its junction with Church Street (the alternative route will be via Wentworth Road, Stubbin Road, Packman Road, Rotherham Road, Firth Road, Melton High Street, Barnsley Road, West Street, Biscay Way, Dearneway Roundabout, Dearneway, Sandygate, Wath Wood Road, Warren Vale Road and vice versa).

(iv)   Woodlands Crescent at its junction with Rockingham Road (the alternative route will be via Wentworth Road, Warren Vale and vice versa).

(v)   Romwood Avenue at its junction with Rockingham Road (the alternative route will be via local neighbouring streets).

(vi)   Rockingham Road cul de sac at its junction with Rockingham Road (there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac).

(vii)  Brameld Road at its junction with Rockingham Road (the alternative route will be via local neighbouring streets).

(viii) Broadway at its junction with Rockingham Road (the alternative route will be via local neighbouring streets).
