NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road Closure required for gas main replacement works Leeds City Council has made an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Jewitt Lane, Wetherby, Leeds in the Harewood Ward between its junctions with Main Street and School Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: School Lane, Main Street and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. Leeds City Station Improvement Works (Temporary No Stopping Except For Hackney Carriages) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is to introduce the following traffic restriction for the purpose of facilitating safe operation of the highway during works associated with the improvement of Leeds City Station. No Stopping Except For Hackney Carriages on: 1. Swinegate; from a point 18m west of the junction with Bridge End, for a distance of 34m. 2. The Calls; from a point 12m east of the junction with Crown Street, for a distance of 22m. 3. The Calls; from a point 54m east of the junction with Crown Street, for a distance of 48m. 4. High Court; from a point 5m east of the junction with Wharf Street, for a distance of 15m. 5. Kirkgate; from a point 22m east of the junction with High Court, for a distance of 40m.The Order shakk come into operation on Monday 8 July 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months. Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel North West along Armley Road, Armley, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward at its junction with A58 Wellington Road for Approximately 30m from 28th July 2024 to 31st March 2025. No person shall cause or permit any pedestrian to travel along Wellington Overbridge, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward either side of the footbridge above Wellington Road from 28th July to 29th July 2024. A diversion route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be avaiable via: A signed diversion route will be in place. 3. No person shall cause or permit any pedestrian to travel along Ingram Road Distributor Footbridge, Leeds in the Boston & Holbeck ward either side of footbridge above the Ingram Road Distributor 28th July to 29th July 2024. A diversion route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be available via: A signed diversion route will be in place. 4. No person shall cause or permit any pedestrian to travel along Wellington Overbridge, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between it’s junctions with Grainger’s Way, Armley Gyratory and Armley Road from 29th July 2024 to 31st March 2025. A diversion route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be avaible via A signed diversion route will be in place. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Leeds has made the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (BECKETT UNIVERSITY GRADUATIONS) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES AND RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024. The Order introduces the following prohibitions and restrictions on the days and between the times as specified below to safely manage the movement of traffic between Leeds First Direct Arena and Leeds Beckett University Rose Bowl Building in connection with the Graduation Ceremonies – 1. Prohibition of Vehicles – the full lengths of: Portland Crescent, Queen’s Square, Queen’s Square Court and Providence Place, from 07:00hrs to 20:00hrs, Monday 15th July 2024 to Friday 19th July 2024 (except by vehicles with the permission of the Event organisers). 2. Closure to Pedestrians of – The footpath to the Woodhouse Lane frontage of the Rose Bowl Car Park between Portland Way and Portland Crescent, from 07:30hrs and 20:00hrs, Thursday 11 July 2024 to Sunday 21 July 2024. 3. The suspension of all parking bays on Portland Crescent and the introduction of a prohibition of waiting at any time by vehicles on those lengths of the road, from 07:30 Thursday 11 July 2024 to 07:30 Monday 22 July 2024. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Leeds intends in no less than seven days to make the Leeds City Council (G-Fest 2024) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024 under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following provisions – Prohibition of Waiting by Vehicles – 08:00 hours to 23:59 hours, Saturday 20th July 2024 on: 1. Ninelands Lane, Garforth – Both side of the road, from the junction with Church Lane to the Junction with Derwent Avenue. 2. Green Lane, Garforth – Both sides of the road, from the junction with Church Lane to the junction with Cricketers Close. 3. Green Lane, Garforth – South side from junction with Cricketers Close, to the junction with Green Lane Villas. 4. The prohibitions of waiting are necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public on the adjacent roads due to the holding of G-Fest 2024, which will increase vehicle and pedestrian numbers in the vicinity of the Event. The Council of the City of Leeds intends in no less than seven days to make the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH LEEDS NO.120) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024. The Order will close to pedestrians the length of Definitive Map Footpath Leeds No.120 – from its junction with Definitive Bridleway Leeds No.310 to its junction with Barnbow Lane. The diversion routes will be via (i) Non-Definitive Restricted Byway LEEDS 119, Non-Definitive Byway LEEDS, Manston Lane, crossing over the Manston Lane roundabout using the pedestrian crossing and along the A6120 in a Northernly direction towards Leeds Road Roundabout using the segregated footway facility; or (ii) a diversion underneath the Cock Beck Bridge and onto the segregated footway facility to proceed along the A6120 in a Northernly direction towards Leeds Road Roundabout or Southernly direction towards Manston Lane Roundabout. The Order is necessary to enable works to be undertaken on or near the footpath in connection with the construction of a new bridleway. The Order is due to come into operation on 15 July 2024 and may continue in effect until 15 February 2025, or until such time as the works are complete, which is anticipated to be 12 August 2024. (Speed Limit) (No.18) Order 2024
Leeds City Council proposes to make the above order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce: 20 MPH Speed Limit on the entire length of the following roads: Bleaberry Close, Beneatha Crescent, Hindscarth Way, Lingmoor Street, Park Approach, Thorpe Park Approach, Thorpe Park View, Ullscarf Grove.
