Parishes of Cudworth and Chillington Temporary Closure of Cudworth Hill, Higher Weare Lane and Mill Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Cudworth Hill - from the junction with Chillington Down to the junction with Higher Weare Lane; Higher Weare Lane - from the junction with Cudworth Street to the junction with Mill Lane; and Mill Lane - from the junction with Cudworth Hill to the juction with Cudworth Street. A total distance of 1730 metres.
This Order will enable Utility Services Ltd to replace a pole on behalf of Openreach.
The Order becomes effective on 4th July 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th July 2024 and last until 12th July 2024 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 2 days.
