ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A49 TRUNK ROAD (CRAVEN ARMS TO BROMFIELD, SHROPSHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) has made an order on the A49 Trunk Road, between Craven Arms and Bromfield, in the County of Shropshire, to allow Network Rail works to be carried out to Onibury Level Crossing.

The effect of the Order will be to close the A49 from its roundabout junction with the B4368 Clun Road and Dale Street, at Craven Arms, to its junction with the A4113, at Bromfield.

The work will be carried out overnight between 23:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Sunday 14th July 2024 and continue for one night. The Order will come into force on 8 July 2024.

Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closure. Access to properties will be in operation at all times. Diversion routes via the B4368, the A442, the A456 and vice versa for through traffic will be signed. Local diversions will also be available.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a) and (7) THE A49 TRUNK ROAD (BAYSTON HILL, SHROPSHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) has made an Order on the A49 Trunk Road at Bayston Hill, in the County of Shropshire, to allow cable installation works to be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to close –

(a) the northbound carriageway of the A49 from its junction with Lyth Hill Road, to its roundabout junction with the A5112 and the A5 (Bayston Hill Roundabout); and

(b) the southbound carriageway of the A49 from Bayston Hill Roundabout, to its junction with Lyth Hill Road; and

(c) any bus stop areas adjacent to the lengths of the road described in (a) and (b) above

The work will be carried out between 21:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 15 July 2024 and continue for four nights. The Order will come into force on 8 July 2024.

A diversion route via the B4368 Craven Arms, the A458, the A5 and vice versa will be signed. Local diversion routes will also be in place.
