Longedge Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
LONGEDGE LANE, WINGERWORTH
WHEN: 23 July to 25 July 2024 (09:30 to 15:30 each day)
WHERE: Longedge Lane, Wingerworth between its Jct. with the A61 Derby Road for a distance of 630m in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate tree cutting works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Longedge Lane (from point of closure), Lodge Drive, Longedge Lane, New Road, Nethermoor Road, A61 Derby Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
