What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE EXTENSION
PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO.34 (PART) STAVELEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 14 December 2023 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close the bridge over the river Doe Lea on Bridleway No.34, has been further continued.
Alternative route: No alternative route is recommended.
The Public bridleway will be closed until 10 July 2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner, to facilitate public safety due to due to storm damaged bridge.
Derbyshire County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused during the duration of the closure. Any member of the public requiring further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
