ADDITION OF FOOTPATH ALONG CHAPEL STREET COURT, POULTON-LE-FYLDE
Definitive Map Modification Order 2024
The above Order, made on 15 May 2024, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for the area, by recording footpath, known as Chapel Street Court, from the open junction to a covered passageway between 4 and 8 Market Place (on some maps labelled Church Street) running in an easterly direction through the passageway and continuing east then north between buildings then east again bounded on the north side by a substantial stone wall separating it from the grounds of St Chad's Church and bounded on the south side by properties primarily used as shops and cafes to an open junction with Chapel Street between 6 Chapel Street and St Chad's Church.
The total length of the route is 75 metres and with the width varying between 1-1.5 metres through the passageway and 2-4 metres along the bounded section.

A copy of the Order and the Order Map may also be seen free of charge at the offices of Wyre Borough Council, and at my offices from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of £1.00. A free digital copy of the Order may be requested by emailing simon.moore@lancashire.gov.uk or by telephoning Simon Moore on 01772 531280 between 9.00 and 17.00, Monday to Friday.
Any representations about, or objections to the Order may be sent in writing by email to simon.moore@lancashire.gov.uk or by letter to Simon Moore, Lancashire County Council, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston, PR1 0LD (REF: LSG4/888.3518/AM15) not later than 15 August 2024 and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which they are made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, Lancashire County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for the Environment, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
