ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –SECTION 14
(MILTON STREET, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 142) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to install new gas service connections to be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Milton Street, Wakefield for approximately 10 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Milton Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion, dead end. Access will be maintained where possible by road plates when required.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 8th July 2024 to 16th July 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(A650 WRENTHORPE BYPASS, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 143) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to plane out and replace existing bituminous surface to roundabout to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: A650 Wrenthorpe Bypass, Wakefield. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of A650 Wrenthorpe Bypass.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: A650 outbound closure at north side of Snowhill roundabout. Outbound traffic to be diverted back at Snow Hill roundabout, Newton Bar roundabout, left onto A61 Leeds Road, left onto Potovens Lane, right onto Lingwell Gate Lane, left onto Kenmore to rejoin the A650 at Kenmore roundabout. A650 inbound traffic to be diverted left at Kenmore roundabout onto Kenmore Road, right onto Lingwell Gate Lane, left onto Potovens Lane, right onto A61 Leeds Road and right at Newton Bar roundabout to rejoin the A650.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 8th July 2024 to 20th July 2024, 19.00 hours to 06.00 hours working overnight Monday to Friday only, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(ST JOHNS SQUARE, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 152) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow Virgin Media to complete repairs to their network to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: St Johns Square, Wakefield outside number 6 St Johns Square for 83 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of St Johns Square.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Wentworth Street, Bond Street, Newstead Road, Maragret Street, St Johns Square & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 22nd July 2024 07.00 hours to 16.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(EXCHANGE STREET, NORMANTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 153) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for new supply connection to be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Exchange Street, Normanton from 7 to 17 Exchange Street. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Exchange Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A dead end road. Road plate on site for access.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 23rd July 2024 08.00 hours to 25th July 2024 18.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(HAW PARK LANE, WINTERSETT)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 155) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to excavate & install ducting for new Quickline Fibre network to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Haw Park Lane, Wintersett for approximately 700 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Haw Park Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion, vehicles will have marshalled access through the site.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 24th July 2024 at 18.00 hours to 25th August 2024 at 22.30 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
