The County of Cornwall (Barn Lane, Beacon Road, Bodmin) (Temporary Prohibition of Trafc) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for patching works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th July 2024 to 1st August 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Roads afected - Barn Lane, Beacon Road, Bodmin between Crabtree Lane and Rock Lane.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th July 2024 to 2nd August 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. 

Road afected - Bodinnick Road, Bodmin between Kensa Chy and Jessies Meadow.

The County of Cornwall (Carminow Road, Respryn Road, Bodmin) (Temporary Prohibition of Trafc) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 1st July 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th July 2024 to 24th July 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

Roads afected - Carminow Road for its entire length, Respryn Road, Bodmin from junction of Carminow Road to outside No 16.

Section 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 10 MPH over an area of highway being Doubletrees, St Blazey from near No 39 to near No 5 for approximately 175 metres. The Council is satisfed that the Order is needed because works to provide new water connection are being executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 29th July 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 2nd August 2024. The restriction will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

The County of Cornwall (Egloshayle Road, Wadebridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Trafc) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge. This prohibition is necessary for remedial reinstatement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th July 2024 to 30th July 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road afected - Footway on Egloshayle Road, Wadebridge adjacant to No 123.

Section 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)

Temporary Prohibition of Trafc Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 19th December 2018 continuing to prohibit the use by trafc over an area of highway being Footpath 18 in the Parish of St Enoder for its entire length.

The Order which commenced on the 20th December 2018 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 19th June 2025. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 19th June 2024 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The Council is satisfed that this further restriction is necessary and the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public as the footpath run through an active industrial estate and a busy industrial haulage road.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, trafc associated with the works required within the highway specifed above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police ofcer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 1st July 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of highway in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public during Boardmasters Festival 2024 and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th July 2024 to 26th August 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Public right of way afected - Footpath 36 and Footpath 38 in the Parish of Newquay for their entire length.

This prohibition is necessary for carriageway support and gully defect works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th July 2024 to 2nd August 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Section 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)

Temporary Prohibition of Trafc Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 27th June 2024 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by trafc over an area of highway being Morcom Close, St Austell from Menear Road to No 15 Morcom Close and including junction at Roslyn Close leading to Morcom Close. 

The Council is satisfed that the Order is needed for safety due to subsidence to carriageway and footway.

The Order will come into operation on 28th June 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 26th July 2024. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 7th June 2024 for a period of 21 days.

Nothing in this Order will apply to trafc associated with the works required within the highway specifed above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police ofcer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
