What is happening?

BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(NORMAN ROAD, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily: Prohibit vehicles from proceeding along or waiting at any time on Norman Road, Rochdale from its junction with Dane Street to a point 470metres in a south westerly direction. 
The Order is required for the safe resurfacing of the carriageway.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed onsite.
The Order will be operative weekends only from: 08:00 hours until 18:00 hours on 6th to 7th July, 13th to 14th July, 20th to 21st July, 27th to 28th July, 3rd to 4th August, 10th to 11th August, 17th to 18th August 2024.

(LOWER WHEAT END, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Lower Wheat End from its junction with Croxton Avenue for a distance of 21 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate electrical works.
The Order will be operative from 09.00 hours until 16.00 hours each day from the 8th July 2024 until 12th July 2024 as required.
Access will be provided if required and safe to do so.
There is no alternative route for vehicles.

(SHORE ROAD, LITTLEBOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along;
Shore Road from its junction with Butterworths Place from a point 38 metres in a north westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the rebuilding of a chamber in the carriageway on behalf of United Utilities.
The Order will be operative from 09:30 hours on the 7th July 2024 until 15:30 hours on the 07th July 2024. 
The alternative diversion route will be Shore Road, Calderbrook Road, Whalley Avenue, Furness Avenue and Shore Road and vice-versa.
Access and egress will be maintained when it is safe to do so.

(RUSHBEARING FESTIVAL, LITTLEBOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in no less than seven days, to made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
I. Shore Road – for its entire length,
II. St Barnabas Drive – for its entire length,
III. Hare Hill Road – for its entire length,
IV. Church Street – from its junction with Hare Hill Road to its junction with Railway Street
V. Railway Street – from its junction with Church Street to its junction with Peel Street.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe holding of the associated parades of the Rushbearing Festival.
The parade will proceed along Shore Road, St Barnabas Drive, Hare Hill Road, Church and Railway Street between 10:30 hours and 13:30 hours on Saturday 20th July 2024.
Due to the nature and duration of the parades it is not necessary for alternative routes to be in place.
