NOTICE OF PROPOSALS
NENE PARKWAY (A1260)
SPEED LIMIT AMENDMENT ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that The Council of the City of Peterborough proposes to make the above mentioned Order under Sections 82(2)(b), 83(2) and 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, ‘the Act of 1984’ and of all other enabling powers. The effect of this Order is to:
a) reduce the speed limit from the National Speed Limit to 40mph along the southbound carriageway of Nene Parkway, from a point 560m north of its junction with the circulatory carriageway of the roundabout at the junction of the Nene Parkway (A1260) and Fletton Parkway (A1139) – to the point where it meets the circulatory carriageway of the above roundabout,
b)reduce the speed limit from the National Speed Limit to 40mph on the full length (approx 250m) of the southbound entry slip road leading from the roundabout at the junction of Morley Way and Nene Parkway (A1260) to the point where it joins the southbound carriageway of
Nene Parkway (A1260)
c) reduce the speed limit from the National Speed Limit to 40mph on the circulatory carriageway of the roundabout at the junction of Nene Parkway (A1260) and Fletton Parkway (A1139)

If you have any objections to the proposed Order they must be submitted in writing or via e-mail to the undersigned by the closing date of 26th July 2024 clearly stating your reasons for objecting.
