NOTICE OF MAKING

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETERBOROUGH 

THORPE WOOD SPEED LIMIT AMENDMENT ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that The Council of the City of Peterborough intends to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 82(2)(b), 83(2) and 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, ‘the Act of 1984’ and of all other enabling powers. The effect of this Order is to:

Amend a 40mph speed limit to 30mph along Thorpe Wood for a distance of 680 metres in a southerly direction.

This Legal Order will be sealed on the 4 July 2024 and will be implemented on the 25 January 2025.

There will be new signs to indicate that a change to the existing speed limit is in place.
