Gracious Pond Road (D40) Chobham - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic To Facilitate Repair And/Or Replacement Chamber Works

What is happening?

THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL

Gracious Pond Road (D40) Chobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 02 July 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Gracious Pond Road (D40) Chobham as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as “White Cottage” to its junction with the access to the property known as “Butts Hill Cottage”. Alternative Route: Gracious Pond Road, Stonehill Road, Old Chertsey Road, (A319) Chertsey Road, and Mincing Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate repair and/or replacement chamber works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days between the hours of 8am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 July 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.

Youlden Drive (D3564) Camberley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 02 July 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the eastbound carriageway of Youlden Drive (D3564) Camberley as extends from its junction with the roundabout with (A325) Portsmouth Road and for a distance of 30 metres along Youlden Drive. This Order is required to carry out utility works for, or on behalf of Omnis. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between 10pm and 5am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 16 July 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. No sole access is affected by this closure. There is alternative route for this closure.

Blackstroud Lane East (D21) Lightwater Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Blackstroud Lane East (D21) Lightwater as extends from its junction with (A322) Lightwater By-pass to its junction with (D21) Burnt Pollard Lane. Alternative Route: (1) Blackstroud Lane East, Windlesham Road, (A319) Bagshot Road, (A322) Gordons School Roundabout, (A322) Guildford Road, (A322) Lightwater By-pass, (A322) Bagshott By-pass, and take 4th exit (A322) Lightwater By-pass; (2) (A322) Lightwater Bypass, (A322) Guildford Road, (A322) Gordons School Roundabout, (A319) Bagshot Road, Windlesham Road, and Blackstroud Lane East. This Order is required to facilitate water utility works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 29 July 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 
Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Chertsey Road (A319) Chobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Chertsey Road (A319) Chobham as extends from its junction with (A319) High Street, and (B383) Windsor Road to its junction with (C8) Mincing Lane. Alternative Route: (B383) Windsor Road, Staple Hill Road, (B386) Longcross Road, Stonehill Road, Old Chertsey Road, and (A319) Chertsey Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of Cadent Gas. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 8 weeks, between the hours of 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday only, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 July 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
