What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council,

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Daleside Road, Rosedale Abbey, Order 2024, No. 236

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Daleside Road, Rosedale Abbey for a temporary period of 2 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 22/07/24 & 31 /03/25, due to drainage works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No Tbc, Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend "North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the restrictions specified below:-

Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking

Hambleton Road, Norton-On-Derwent, both sides of the road, from a point 13 metres Northeast of the centreline of its junction with Chestnut Grove, to a point 8 metres Southwest of the centreline of its junction with Chestnut Grove - Waiting Prohibited at All Times, with Exemptions. Chestnut Grove, Norton-On-Derwent, both sides of the road, from its junction with Hambleton Road, to a point 17 metres Southeast of the centreline of its junction with Hambleton Road - Waiting Prohibited at All Times, with Exemptions. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & Norton Hive Library & Community Hub, 86 Commercial St., Norton, Malton Y017 9ES during normal office hours from 03/07/24 until 24/07/24 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing, addressed to Area 4 Kirby Misperton Highways Office, Beansheaf Industrial Park, Tofts Road, Kirby Misperton, Malton, North Yorkshire Y017 6BG or by email to Area4.Kirbymisperton@northyorks.gov.uk or via the website link above by 24/07/24.

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Greengate Lane, Thornton Dale for a temporary period of 2 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 22/07/24 & 27/09/24, due to drainage works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate.
