What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U2431 STANLEY AVENUE, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2431 Stanley Avenue, Ipswich to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Pearce Road, Orwell Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/07/2024 - 03/07/2024 from 9am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1071 LONDON ROAD, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A1071 London Road, Ipswich from no. 152 to Surrey Road to facilitate remedial water works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Burlington Road, Handford Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/07/2024 - 03/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1066 PARK ROAD, BOXTED
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1066 Park Road, Boxted from Park Farm House for 50 meters northbound to facilitate pole replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1066, the A1302, the A134, the A1092, the B1066 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6453 THE STREET, U6454 WYKEN ROAD AND THE U6455 FROM THE U6453 TO THE C645, STANTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
1. • U6453 The Street, Stanton from Bury Lane to Wyken Road.
• U6454 Wyken Road, Stanton from The Street to the U6455 from the U6453 to the C645.
• U6455 from the U6453 to the C645, Stanton
2. • U6454 Wyken Road, Stanton from the A143 Bury Road and west to the three-way junction to Wyken Cottages.
This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
1. • Walsham Road, Ixworth, the A143, Old Bury Road, The Street, Stanton and vice versa.
2. • the A143, Old Bury Road, The Street, Wyken Road, Stanton and vice versa.
It is intended that the closures will operate from:
• 01/07/2024 - 04/07/2024 from 7pm - 5am
• 03/07/2024 - 06/07/2024 from 7pm - 5am.
There will be a further closure scheduled for associated works but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1113 STOWUPLAND ROAD FOOTWAY, STOWMARKET
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1113 Stowupland Road Footway, Stowmarket from the crossing with the roundabout with Mortimer Road for 341 meters south westbound to facilitate utility connections for new development. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Mortimer Road, Greenfinch Close, Starling Way, Stowupland Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/07/2024 - 12/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8631 BLACKHOUSE LANE, GREAT CORNARD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8631 Blackhouse Lane, Great Cornard from Wells Hall Road for 30 meters south westbound to facilitate a water leak investigation. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Wells Hall Road, Head Lane, Bures Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/07/2024 - 03/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8911 THE GREEN, HADLEIGH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8911 The Green, Hadleigh from no. 10 - no. 14 to facilitate a water meter change. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be George Street, Magdalen Road, The Green and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/07/2024 from 9am - 1pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 4, SOUTHWOLD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 4, Southwold from Palmers Lane for 80 meters eastbound to facilitate installing electricity cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be to be shown on site.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/07/2024 - 05/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C702 Preston Road, Lavenham from 10 meters east of Frog Hall Lane for 50 meters eastbound to facilitate gas works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Chapel Hill, Brettenham, Chapel Hill, Thorpe Morieux, Bury Road, Felsham Road, Great Green, Cockfield, The Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/07/2024 - 05/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Back Lane, The Street, Chapel Lane, London Road Former A12 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/07/2024 - 03/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2240 GORSE ROAD AND THE U2241 RANDS WAY, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
• the U2240 Gorse Road, Ipswich
• the U2241 Rands Way, Ipswich from Nacton Road to Gorse Road.
This is to facilitate a gas replacement scheme. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Nacton Crescent, Nacton Road, Queens Way and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/07/2024 - 26/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C424 BERGHOLT ROAD, BENTLEY
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C424 Bergholt Road, Bentley from Hazel Shrub to The Link to facilitate fibre installation works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
• Southbound - Capel Road, Bentley Road, the A12, the B1070, Straight Road, East End Road, Bergholt Road with no vice versa.
• Northbound - Bergholt Road, East End Road, Straight Road, the B1070, the A12, London Road, Capel St Mary, The Street, London Road, Bentley, Bentley Road, Capel Road with no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/07/2024 - 11/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF THE A114 BROAD STREET, BUNGAY
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A144 Broad Street, Bungay from The Fishers Theatre to the junction with Marketplace to facilitate installation of telecommunications ducting. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A143, the B1062, the A144 and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the one-way provision on the A144 Broad Street, Bungay from The Fishers Theatre to the junction with Marketplace.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/07/2024 - 03/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2526 Station Approach, Saxmundham from High Street to Albion Street and the U2526 Albion Street, Saxmundham from Station Approach to Chapel Road to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the B1119 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/07/2024 - 12/07/2024 from 9am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8100 Buggs Lane, Brettenham from Church Farm for 30 meters eastbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1115, Bury Road, Hitchum Bury Road, Brettenham, The Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/07/2024 - 12/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 4 BARDWELL
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 4, Bardwell from 185 metres west of the junction with Church Road to the bridge for safety reasons to enable repairs to an unsafe bridge. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be Church Road, School Lane, Footpath 4 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE B1115 FINBOROUGH ROAD AND THE B1113 VARIOUS ROADS, ONEHOUSE, STOWMARKET AND NEEDHAM MARKET
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1115 Finborough Road, Onehouse to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1115, the A1308, the B1113, the B1078, the B1115 and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will be a temporary suspension of the 7.5 tonnes weight restriction on the B1113 carriageway at Stowmarket Road, Badley, Badley Hill, Badley, Stowmarket Road, Needham Market, High Street, Needham Market and terminating at the junction of High Street, Needham Market and Barking Road, Needham Market.
It is intended that these measures will operate from 10/07/2024 - 12/07/2024 from 10am - 3pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Station Road, Ipswich Road, Cumberland Street, Church Street, Theatre Street, Burkitt Road, the A12 and no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/07/2024 - 16/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
