Portchester Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - PORTCHESTER LANE, SOUTHWICK, WINCHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Portchester Lane between its junction with Crooked Walk Lane and the property known as The Forest of Bere Dairy.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ham Lane, B2177, Crooked Walk Lane.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 15th July 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 08:30-15:30).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals to carry out pole replacement works.
