What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH SARRATT 18, SARRATT 63 & CROXLEY GREEN 13

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Sarratt 18, Sarratt 63 & Croxley Green 13, for Sarratt 18, heading north and east from Little Green Lane to junction Sarratt 17. For Sarratt 63 from Little Green Lane, north east to junction to junction with Sarratt 18. For Croxley Green 13, heading south from Little Green Lane to junction with B, for an approximate distance of 750, 380 & 460m.

Alternative Route: for Sarratt 18 & 63, via Sarratt 15 & 17. For

Croxley Green 13, via Lincoln Drive, Lincoln Way, Rochester Way,

Kenilworth Drive, Manor Way and Baldwins Lane

The purpose of the Order is to enable maintenance works to take place.

The section of Footpath Sarratt 18, Sarratt 63 & Croxley Green 13 will be closed on or after 09 July 2024 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MELBOURNE ROAD, BUSHEY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the

above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length

of Melbourne Road, Bushey from its junction with Herkomer Road

south westwards to its junction with Herkomer Close, a distance

of approximately 55m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Herkomer Road, Falconer Road, A411 High Street and Melbourne Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed

to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 July

2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions

specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs

on or near the Road.

2. that length of Catsey Lane, Bushey from its junction with Somers Way south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Vega Road, a distance of approximately 133m.

An alternative route will be via Somers Way, Ashfield Avenue and Catsey Lane.

3. that length of Denham Way, Borehamwood from its junction with the Potters Lane roundabout south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with the Studio Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 531m. An alternative route will be via Potters Lane, Alexandra Road, Rowley Lane and Studio Way.

4. that length of Robeson Way, Borehamwood from its junction with Denham Way north westwards for a distance of approximately 25m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

5. that length of Milland Court, Borehamwood from its junction with Denham Way north eastwards for a distance of approximately 25m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

6. that length of Oberon Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Denham Way south westwards for a distance of approximately 25m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

7. that length of Brae Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Denham Way north westwards for a distance of approximately 25m.

8. that length of Grace Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Denham Way south eastwards for a distance of approximately 25m.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HEALEY ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the

above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of

Healey Road, Watford from a point 56m south west of its junction

with Charlock Way south westwards for a distance of

approximately 11m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Healey Road, Charlock Way, Combe Road, High View and Healey Road.

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF GROVE MILL LANE, WATFORD/GROVE MILL) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the

above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length

of Grove Mill Lane, Watford/Grove Mill from its junction with A411

Hempstead Road south westwards and north westwards to its

junction with Fir Tree Hill, a distance of approximately 1962m

("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A411 Hempstead Road, A41

(Hempstead Road/Watford Road) and Langleybury Lane.

The Order is needed because tree felling and vegetation cutting

works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 July

2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions

specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs

on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ST GEORGES ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of St Georges Road, Watford from its junction with Gammons Lane north eastwards to its junction with The Harebreaks, a distance of approximately 166m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Gammons Lane, Maude Crescent and The Harebreaks.

The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing gas mains are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MILDRED AVENUE, WATFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Mildred Avenue, Watford from its junction with Harwoods Road south westwards to its junction with Queens Avenue, a distance of approximately 50m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Harwoods Road, A412 Rickmansworth Road, Hagden Lane, Queens Avenue and Mildred Avenue.

The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing gas mains are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER NO.3 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-

1. that length of Heather Lane, Watford from its junction with Leggatts Way north eastwards for a distance of approximately 13m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. that length of Marlborough Road, Watford from its junction with A411 Exchange Road south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with A4178 Cassio Road, a distance of approximately 208m.

An alternative route will be via A411 Exchange Road, A4145 Vicarage Road and A4178 (Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road/ Fearnley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road/Cassio Road) or via A4178 (Cassio Road/Merton Road/Wiggenhall Road), A4145 Vicarage Road and A411 Exchange Road.

3. that length of Lea Road, Watford from its junction with Maude Crescent north eastwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, a distance of approximately 45m.

An alternative route will be via Maude Crescent, St Georges Road, Fuller Road, Longspring and A412 St Albans Road.

4. that length of Maude Crescent, Watford from its junction with St Georges Road south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

5. that length of St Georges Road, Watford from its junction with The Harebreaks north eastwards to its junction with Maude Crescent, a distance of approximately 103m.

An alternative route will be via The Harebreaks, Longspring, Fuller Road and St Georges Road.

6. that length of Terrace Gardens, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MOOR LANE CROSSING, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Moor Lane Crossing, Rickmansworth from its junction with Old Approach north eastwards and north westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WOODLANDS CLOSE, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Woodlands Close, Borehamwood from a point 20m north east of its junction with Cardinal Avenue north eastwards for a distance of approximately 12m ("the Road"). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BUSHEY AND BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-1. that length of Somers Way, Bushey from its junction with Catsey Lane north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Ashfield Avenue, a distance of approximately 135m. An alternative route will be via Catsey Lane and Ashfield Avenue.
