(TODDINGTON: PART OF FOOTPATH NO 46)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Central Bedfordshire Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot along the length of part of public Footpath No 46, Toddington which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 0277 2775 in a south easterly direction for approximately 573 metres to OS GR TL 0297 2723.
This temporary closure is required to safely enable overhead line works to take place. The closure is expected to take place from 26 July to 25 August 2024 or until the works are completed.
The alternative route for footpath users whilst this closure is in force will be:
From OS GR TL 0297 2723 continue along Footpath No. 46 towards Footpath No 4, Chalton at OS GR TL 0311 2674, then towards Footpath No 21, Chalton at OS GR TL 0315 2664, then to Footpath No 14, Chalton at OS GR TL 0335 2672, then to Footpath No 15, Chalton at OS GR TL 0350 2691, then to Footpath No 2, Sundon at OS GR TL 0346 2770 and to Bridleway No 2, Chalton at OS GR TL 0345 2770, then to Bridleway No 49, Toddington at OS GR TL 0278 2781 and continue to Footpath No 46, Toddington at OS GR TL 0262 2787 and along Footpath No 46 to OS GR TL 0277 2775 and vice versa. If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.

(DAGNALL ROAD, WHIPSNADE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Dagnall Road, Whipsnade approximately 270 metres north of the county boundary.
This temporary closure is required to enable pole replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on
18 July 2024 between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via B4506, B489, B440 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 18 July 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Clements End Road, Studham at its junction with Pedley Hill.
This temporary closure is required to enable pole replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on
18 July 2024 between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Common Road, Dunstable Road, B440, Hemel Hempstead Road, B440, Pedley Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 18 July 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME IN TITHE FARM ROAD AND CHURCHFIELD ROAD, HOUGHTON REGIS
Reason for proposal: For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising; For facilitating the passage of traffic on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians); The waiting restrictions are intended to address indiscriminate parking and to ensure that junctions are not obstructed by parked vehicles.
Effect of the Order:
To introduce No Waiting at any time on the following length of road in Houghton Regis:-
1. Tithe Farm Road, west side, from the junction with Churchfield Road, following the curvature of the kerb in a north-easterly direction for approximately 11 metres.
2. Tithe Farm Road, west side, from the junction with Churchfield Road, extending in a south easterly direction for approximately 10 metres.
3. Churchfield Road, north side, from the junction with Tithe Farm Road, extending in a westerly direction and then following the curvature of the kerb northwesterly for a distance of approximately 10 metres.
4. Churchfield Road, south side, from the junction with Tithe Farm Road, extending in a south-westerly direction for approximately 23 metres.
5. Churchfield Road, north side, from the shared property boundary between 113 and 115 Churchfield Road and extending in an easterly direction and then following the curvature of the kerb north for approximately 13 metres into the northern spur of Churchfield Road.
