(BOGHEAD ROAD, LENZIE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

On the 2 July 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on Boghead Road, Lenzie between its junctions with Glenwood Road and Pinewood Avenue, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.

This Order will operate from 08:00 hours on Sunday, 14 July until 18:00 hours on Sunday, 21 July 2024.

Alternative Route

The alternative routes will be by way of Boghead Road, Gallowhill Road, the B757 Lenzie Road, Townhead, Parliament Road, the A806 New Lairdsland Road, the A803 Glasgow Road in Kirkintilloch, the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, Cole Road, the B819 Crosshill Road in Bishopbriggs and Lenzie, the B757 Auchinloch Road, the B819 Lindsaybeg Road, the A806 Initiative Road, Woodilee Road, Garngaber Avenue, and the B757 Kirkintilloch Road in Lenzie, and these routes will be sign posted.
