(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WINGRAVE ROAD, GUBBLECOTE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Wingrave Road, Gubblecote from a point 232m south east of its junction with Tring Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 100m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Wingrave Road, B489 Lower Icknield Way, Wellington Place, High Street, Mentmore Road, Long Marston Road, Cheddington Lane, Tring Road and Wingrave Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN CONISTON ROAD, KINGS LANGLEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Coniston Road, Kings Langley from its junction with A4251 Hempstead Road south westwards for distance of approximately 10m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via A4251 Hempstead Road, Common Lane, Barnes Lane and Coniston Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because sewer connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS FOOTWAYS AND FOOTPATHS IN TRING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of footway (“the Footways”) and footpath (“the Footpaths”):-
1. the footway situated on the north and west sides of Elm Tree Walk, Tring from its junction with Silk Mill Way south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 224m. There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footway will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. the footway situated on the south and east sides of Elm Tree Walk, Tring from its junction with Silk Mill Way south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 224m. There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footway will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. 3. the footway situated on the west, north west and north east sides of Grenadine Way, Tring from its junction with Elm Tree Walk north eastwards and south eastwards for its entire length.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Elm Tree Walk and the footpath situated on the north west side of Nos.8-12 Elm Tree Walk.
4. the footway situated on the north east and east sides of Gwynne Close, Tring from its junction with Elm Tree Walk south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 126m. There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footway will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. the footway situated on the south west side of Gwynne Close, Tring from its junction with Elm Tree Walk south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 100m.
There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footway will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. the footway situated on the west side of Gwynne Close, Tring from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.20 Gwynne Close south westwards for a distance of approximately 24m.
There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footway will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
7. the footway situated on the north side of No.30 and No.32 Gwynne Close, Tring from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.32 Gwynne Close north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 24m. There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footway will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. 8. the footway situated on the north side of the road leading to No.29 and No.31 Gwynne Close, Tring from its junction with Gwynne Close north eastwards for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Elm Tree Walk and the footway situated on the east and south sides of Grenadine Way.
11. the footpath situated on the north west side of Nos.1-7 Elm Tree Walk, Tring from its northernmost junction with Elm Tree Walk south westwards, south eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards, south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 102m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south and east sides of Elm Tree Walk.
12. the footpath fronting Nos.38-54 Elm Tree Walk, Tring from its junction with Elm Tree Walk south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
13. the footpath situated on the north west side of No.62 Elm Tree Walk, Tring from a point 12m south west of its junction with Elm Tree Walk south westwards, south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
14. the footpath situated between No.22 and No.29 Grenadine Way, Tring from its junction with the footpath situated on the north west side of Nos.8-12 Elm Tree Walk north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
15. the footpath situated on the west side of Nos.39-47 Elm Tree Walk, Tring from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.39 Elm Tree Walk south eastwards for a distance of approximately 198m.
An alternative route will be via the footpath situated on the north west side of Nos.1-7 Elm Tree Walk, the footway situated on the south side of Elm Tree Walk, the footway situated on the east side of Silk Mill Way and Tring Town Public Footpath No.081.
16. the footpath situated on the south east side of No.17 Grenadine Way, Tring from its junction with Grenadine Way south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Mulberry Close, a distance of approximately 55m. There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footways and Footpaths.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Connaught Close, Hemel Hempstead from a point 57m south west of its junction with High Street Green north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Church Lane, Berkhamsted from a point 40m south east of its junction with The Wilderness south eastwards for a distance of approximately 19m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Church Lane, Water Lane, A4251 High Street and Church Lane.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF KINGS LANGLEY PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.016) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Kings Langley Public Footpath No.016 from its junction with Common Lane north eastwards to its junction with Coniston Road, a distance of approximately 276m (“the Public Footpath”).
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Common Lane, the footway situated on the east side of Barnes Lane and the footway situated on the south and west sides of Coniston Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 July 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. ROAD HUMPS AND PEDESTRIAN CROSSING NOTICE
(BENNETTS END ROAD, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) 2024
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to construct a Zebra pedestrian crossing facility on that length of Bennetts End Road, Hemel Hempstead as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice. It is also proposed under sections 90A – 90F of the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, to install flat topped road humps in those lengths of Bennetts End Road, Hemel Hempstead as specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

SCHEDULE 1: Zebra pedestrian crossing facility to be constructed on the flat topped road hump in Schedule 2 – to be located on that section of road listed below and as set out in the scheme plan – Part of Bennetts End Road, centred on a point 41.5 metres south east of a point in line with the boundary between Nos. 74 and 74a Bennetts End Road.
SCHEDULE 2: Flat topped road hump and speed cushions – to be installed on those sections of road listed below and as set out in the scheme plan – Parts of Bennetts End Road.
Flat topped road hump – from a point 38.5 metres south east of a point in line with the boundary between Nos. 74 and 74a Bennetts End Road south eastwards for 6 metres.
The above flat topped road hump will be constructed at a height of approximately
65mm above the existing carriageway with on/off gradients of approximately 1:20.
Speed cushions
(a) centred on a point 6.5 metres south east of a point in line with the boundary between Nos. 74 and 74a Bennetts End Road.
(b) centred on a point 75.5 metres south east of a point in line with the boundary between Nos. 74 and 4a Bennetts End Road.
The speed cushions (constructed in pairs) will be constructed at a height of approximately 65mm above the existing carriageway, each cushion is 3 metres long and 1.8 metres wide with on/off gradients of 1:20 and side gradient of 1:5.
