GAS MAIN INSTALLATION WORKS - DARRACOTT ROAD & ASSOC. ROADS, BOURNEMOUTH TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN:

The following will be closed to all vehicles with no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/ unloading at any time -

* Parkwood Road, from Darracott Road to Christchurch Road - phased closures from 8th July 2024 until 30th August 2024

* PROW J08 Harewood Avenue to Lascelles Road - 8th July 2024 until 9th August 2024

* PROW J10 Harewood Avenue to Waltham Close - 29th July 2024 until 23rd August 2024

* Darracott Road, from Parkwood Road to West Road - 19th August 2024 until 27th September 2024

* Clarence Park Road, from Christchurch Road to Kings Park Drive - 26th August 2024 until 4th October 2024

* Southbourne Road, from Christchurch Road to Parkwood Road - 23rd September 2024 until 29th November 2024

Suspension of one-way traffic order to allow for access -

* Hillbrow Road and Droxford Road - 23rd September 2024 until 29th November 2024

WHY: To enable SGN to carry out gas main installation works

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety. DIVERSIONS: Via signed routes

VIEW AT: https://one.network/?tm=138900945 These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
