Carlisle, Multiple Roads, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Utility Works

CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, NORTH OF CARLISLE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) (NO.1) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the lengths of road specified in the attached Schedule.

Suitable diversion routes will be indicated on site by the display of relevant traffic signs as and when the temporary closures are in force. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 1 July 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as stated in the schedule and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. From its junction with the U1074 to its junction with the U1073.

Alternative Route: via the U1073, C1015 Low Harker, A7 and the U1074.
