CROYDON COUNCIL DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACE THE RIDGEWAY. CROYDON 0

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping-Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No. K16) Order 20-The Croydon (On-Street Charaed-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. K17) Order 20-NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking place in The Ridgeway, Croydon, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 66.

b) Designate a new parking place at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the location below.

The Ridgeway, Outside No. 89 and partially across the Croydon_Ifrontage of No 91 (partial footway bay)

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

2. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at Access Croydon, Bernard Weatherill House,

8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA (Alternatively all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk).

3. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design Section, 3rd Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA or by emailing the Parking Design Team (email address above) quoting the reference: PD/CH/K16 & K17 by 18 July 2024.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS HOOK HILL. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telegraph pole renewal works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Hook Hill.

2. During the works Hook Hill will be closed between its junction with Arkwright Road and the north to south arm of Hook Hill (which runs between No. 25 Briton Hill Road and the island site at the junction).

3. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative routes for traffic will be via Hook Hill, Briton Hill Road and reversed, as appropriately signposted.

4. The Order will come into operation on 02 July 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extents as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS MITCHLEY HILL. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Mitchley Hill, South Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Mitchley Hill will be closed to vehicular traffic between its junction with Borrowdale Close and a point 50 metres west of that junction.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Mitchley Hill, Rectory Park, Limpsfield Road, Mitchley Hill, and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 27 June 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be

reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs. 5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(b) any vehicle being used to carry out the said works.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SANGLEY ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate blockage removal works on behalf of Openreach, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Sangley Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, parking in Sangley Road will be suspended from the common boundary of Nos. 52 and 54 Sangley Road to its junction with Park Road and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time.

3. The Order will come into operation on 02 July 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle or person involved in carrying out the said work.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED BY SECTION 4 (7) OF SCHEDULE 5 TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985 AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

SELHURST ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING & PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of a new gas service by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict parking and pedestrian traffic in Selhurst Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" between the common boundaries of Nos. 43 and 45 and Nos. 49 and 51 Selhurst Road.

b) the footway will be closed outside No. 47 Selhurst Road.

3. Whilst the footway closure is in force pedestrians will be diverted into a walkway in the carriageway.

4. The Order will come into operation on 04 July 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within approximately six days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further work be required.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

The Crovdon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping. Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No. 13) Order 2024

The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No. 13) Order 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 24 June 2024 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 55 Bensham Manor Road, Thornton Heath, No. 89 Broadcoombe, South Croydon, No. 14 Buller Road, Thornton Heath, No. 325 Castle Hill Avenue, New Addington, No. 5 Chelsham Road, South Croydon, Nos. 4 and 10 Cromwell Road, Croydon, No. 7 Dixon Road, South Norwood, No. 43 Elmside, Fieldway, New Addington, No. 26 Glenthorne Avenue, Croydon, No. 133 Langdale Road, Thornton Heath, No. 34 Maberley Road, Upper Norwood, and No. 8 Ridgemount Avenue, Coulsdon.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 01 July 2024, and of all associated Orders can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made at Access Croydon, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA. Alternatively all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk.

3. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
