What is happening?

D2211 Hollymoor Lane, Epsom Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 26 June 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D2211 Hollymoor Lane, Epsom that extends from its junction with D2266 Longmead Road, to its junction with D2227 Sefton Road.
This Traffic Order is required to enable KLT Construction Limited to carry out utility works, to include excavations and/or cabling and/or connection and/or maintenance works in D2211 Hollymoor Lane between its junction with D2266 Longmead Road and its junction with D2211 Westmorland Close. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm, within 15 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 08 July 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residents and businesses, including access for emergency services to affected residences and businesses will be maintained at all times from the southwestern end of the temporary closure via the alternative route:- Sefton Road and Longmead Road.
Cunliffe Road (D2104) Ewell and Vale Road (D2420) Worcester Park Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles proceeding clock-wise in that length of Vale Road (D2420) Worcester Park, which comprises the entire length of carriageway within the roundabout situated at or adjacent to the junctions of Cunliffe Road (D2104), Cuddington Avenue (D2012) and Vale Road (D2420), from entering onto Cunliffe Road (D2104) Ewell.
This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out footway reconstruction and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed within 9 days, as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 15 July 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary prohibition of entry will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. The prohibition above shall not apply to vehicles being used for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes in an emergency; or to vehicles under the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform, or of a sign placed pursuant to Sections 66 or 67 of the Act.
Alternative Route 1 - Vale Road, Westways, Stoneleigh Crescent, Stoneleigh Park Road and Cunliffe Road. Alternative Route 2 - Vale Road, Inveresk Gardens, Ardrossan Gardens, Stoneleigh Park Road and Cunliffe Road.
