TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRIDLEWAY STEVENAGE 23
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horseriders, and cyclists from using that length of Bridleway Stevenage 23, heading north towards junction with Graveley 7 and 8, for an approximate distance of 850m.
Alternative route: constructed route east of closure
The purpose of the Order is to enable pylon removal and erection works to take place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LANGLEY LANE, LANGLEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Langley Lane, Langley from its junction with B656 London Road south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 73m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B656 London Road, B651 Whitwell Road and Langley Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BREACHWOOD GREEN, STEVENAGE, OFFLEY KNEBWORTH AND BALDOCK) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of The Heath/Heath Road/Chapel Road, Breachwood Green from its junction with Brownings Lane south eastwards and southwards to its junction with Oxford Road, a distance of approximately 688m.
An alternative route will be via Darley Road, Church Road, Lilley Bottom Road, Lower Road and Oxford Road.
2. that length of Gresley Way, Stevenage from its junction with the Broadwater Lane roundabout north westwards to its junction with the A602 Broadhall Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 241m.
An alternative route will be via Gresley Way, Six Hills Way and A602 (Monkswood Way/Broadhall Way).
3. that length of Elbow Lane, Stevenage from its junction with Oaks Cross south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Pepsal End, a distance of approximately 207m.
An alternative route will be via Oaks Cross, Melne Road and Elbow Lane.
4. that length of Harris Lane, Offley from its junction with Kings Walden Road north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Offley UCR (unmetalled unclassed country road) No.1, a distance of approximately 122m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. that length of Old Knebworth Lane, Stevenage/Knebworth from its junction with B197 London Road south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and southwards to its junctions with Park Lane, a distance of approximately 2425m.
An alternative route will be via B197 (London Road/Stevenage Road), Station Road, Station Approach and Park Lane.
6. that length of Oakfields, Stevenage from its junction with Oaks Cross south eastwards to its junction with Green Acres, a distance of approximately 82m.
An alternative route will be via Oaks Cross, Longfields, Oakfields Close and Oakfields.
7. that length of B656 Royston Road, Baldock from its northermost junction with A507 Clothall Road north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with B656 Royston Bypass Interchange with Wallington Road, a distance of approximately 1743m.
An alternative route will be via B656 Whitehorse Street, B197 (High Street/ London Road) and A505 Baldock Bypass.
8. that length of Icknield Way, Baldock from its junction with Norton Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 60m.
An alternative route will be via Norton Road, B656 (Hitchin Street/ Whitehorse Street), A507 Station Road and Icknield Way.
9. that length of Norton Road, Baldock from its junction with Icknield Way north westwards for a distance of approximately 60m.
An alternative route will be via Norton Road, B656 (Letchworth Road/Baldock Road), Pixmore Way, Norton Way South, Norton Way North and Norton Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B655 Pirton Road, Hitchin/B655 Hexton Road, Offley from its junction with Upper Tilehouse Street north westwards, south westwards, north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 4852m ("the length of Roads").
An alternative route will be via A505 (Upper Tilehouse Street/Old Park Road/ Bedford Road), A600 (Bedford Road/Hitchin Road), A507 (unnamed road/ Ampthill Road/unnamed road), A6 Bedford Road and B655 Bedford Road/ Hexton Road/Barton Road/Hitchin Road) or via B655 (Hitchin Road/Barton Road/Hexton Road/Bedford Road), A6 Bedford Road, A507 (unnamed road/ Ampthill Road/unnamed road), A600 (Hitchin Road/Bedford Road) and A505 (Bedford Road/Paynes Park/Upper Tilehouse Street).

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1037 Stevenage Road, Walkern from its junction with the Gresley Way roundabout north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and eastwards for a distance of approximately 2122m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via B1037 Fairlands Way, A1155 (Fairlands Way/St Georges Way), A602 (Monkswood Way/Broadhall Way/Hooks Cross), High Street, Walkern Road, Benington Road and High Street.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. the road leading to Nos.15-29 Canterbury Way, Stevenage from its junction with Canterbury Way northwards and eastwards for a distance of approximately 120 m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. the road situated to the rear of Nos.358-394 Canterbury Way, Stevenage from its junction with Canterbury Way southwards and westwards for its entire length.

5. the road situated on the south side of No.531 Canterbury Way, Stevenage from its junction with Pilgrims Way north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Canterbury Way, a distance of approximately 51m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Waterloo Lane, Holwell from its junction with Pirton Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 45m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Pirton Road, Holwell Road, A600 Bedford Road, Station Road, Shillington Road, Marquis Hill, High Road, Shillington Road, West Lane, Holwell Road and Waterloo Lane.

1. that length of A602 Six Hills Way, Stevenage from its junction with the A602 Lytton Way/A1070 Six Hills Way roundabout south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with the A1155 St Georges Way/A602 Monkswood Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 226m.
An alternative route will be via A1070 Six Hills Way, A0172 Gunnels Wood Road, A602 Broadhall Way, Gresley Way and Six Hills Way or via A602 Lytton Way and A1155 (Fairlands Way/St Georges Way).
2. that length of A602 Monkswood Way, Stevenage from its junction with the A602 Broadhall Way/B197 Monkswood Way roundabout north westwards to its junction with the A1155 St Georges Way/A602 Six Hills Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 946m.
An alternative route will be via A602 Broadhall Way, A1072 Gunnels Wood Road, A1070 Six Hills Way and A602 Six Hills Way or via A602 Broadhall Way, Gresley Way and Six Hills Way.
3. that length of A1155 St Georges Way, Stevenage from its junction with the A602 Six Hills Way/A602 Monkswood Way roundabout north westwards to its junction with the A1155 Fairlands Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 635m.
An alternative route will be via A602 (Six Hills Way/Lytton Way) and A1155 Fairlands Way.
4. the A1155 St Georges Way/A602 Monkswood Way roundabout, Stevenage from its junction with A602 Six Hills Way clockwise for its entire length.
An alternative route will be via A602 (Six Hills Way/Lytton Way) and A1155 (Fairlands Way/St Georges Way) or via A602 Six Hills Way, A1072 Gunnels Wood Road, A602 Broadhall Way, Gresley Way and Six Hills Way.
5. that length of Six Hills Way, Stevenage from its junction with the A1155 St Georges Way/A602 Monkswood Way roundabout eastwards to its junction with Homestead Moat, a distance of approximately 390m.

An alternative route will be via Stevenage Road, A602 (Stevenage Road/ Wymondley Bypass) and Stevenage Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new waiting restrictions and a loading bay restriction in parts of Hitchin as specified in the Schedules to this Notice. The Orders will come into effect on Saturday 17 August 2024. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are held on deposit and may be viewed from 27 June 2024 to 8 August 2024 during office hours at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford or online at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting North Herts and looking at Ref: NH00823.

SCHEDULE 1: No waiting at any time - those sections of road listed below and as set out in the Order and scheme plans - Parts of Bearton Road, Bearton Green, Whitehurst Avenue, Periwinkle Lane and Water Lane.
SCHEDULE 2: No waiting 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Saturday - those sections of road listed below and as set out in the Order and scheme plans -Parts of Bearton Road and Periwinkle Lane.
SCHEDULE 3: Loading Bay - 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Saturday limited to 1 hour waiting with no return within 2 hours - that section of road listed below and as set out in the Order and scheme plans - Part of Bearton Road.
