What is happening?

REDCAR & CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL

TAKE NOTICE that the Borough Council has received the following planning applications and listed building consents (LBC) submitted under The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990:

*R/2024/0409/CA: Replace existing rear offshoot with glazed extension; alterations to inner side windows/door; rear dormer; replace part rear wall with access gate & metal railing atop front boundary wall at 13 Leven Street, Saltburn.

*As the above application is a householder application, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission dealt with on the basis of written representations, any representations made will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment.

R/2023/0837/LB: LBC for conversion of former care home into 11 residential apartments at Normanby Hall, Normanby Hall Park, Normanby.

R/2024/0069/CA: Conversion of Dovecote to form holiday cottage; including new wall, sauna & gazebo at The Dovecote within the garden of 10 Dovecote Close, Marske.

R/2024/0268/CA: Garage rear of 68 High Street, Skelton.

R/2024/0326/LB: LBC for single storey rear extension at The Old White House, Saltburn Lane, Saltburn. 

R/2024/0375/CA:|V Replacement shop front; first floor windows, removal of paint to brickwork; lanterns to signage at Mad Alice’s, 32 Zetland Road, Loftus.

R/2024/0381/CA: Front & rear dormers at 72 Coatham Road, Redcar.

R/2024/0396/CA: Partial demolition of garage; replace with 2 storey building as 2 one bedroom flats with assoc. boundary treatments rear of 11 Marine Parade, Saltburn.

R/2024/0404/VC: Variation of condition 2 on planning approval R/2022/0969/F3 for relevant demolition of buildings; erection of skills and training hub with assoc. car parking at Land at 48-51 West Road, Loftus.

R/2024/0422/F3M: Public realm works including re alignment of highways, parking & footpaths; additional pedestrian crossings, new street furniture, lighting etc Land at Westgate, Market Place, Chaloner Street, Church Street & Fountain Street, Guisborough.

Applications which affect the setting of a Listed Building under Section 67 of The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990:

R/2024/0322/FF: New access; 2 glamping pods, dog exercise area & storage building at The Willows, 1 & 2 Plantation Cottages, Low Stanghow Road, Stanghow.

R/2024/0396/CA: Partial demolition of garage; replace with 2 storey building as 2 one bedroom flats with assoc. boundary treatments rear of 11 Marine Parade, Saltburn.

R/2024/0422/F3M: Public realm works including re alignment of highways, parking & footpaths; additional pedestrian crossings, new street furniture, lighting etc Land at Westgate, Market Place, Chaloner Street, Church Street & Fountain Street, Guisborough.

Applications submitted under Article 15 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015:

R/2024/0317/FF: Provision of holiday chalet for private use at Land South of Middlesbrough Road, Guisborough.

R/2024/0422/F3M: Public realm works including re -alignment of highways, parking & footpaths; additional pedestrian crossings, new street furniture, lighting etc Land at Westgate, Market Place, Chaloner Street, Church Street & Fountain Street, Guisborough.

The above proposals do not accord with the provisions of the development plans in force in the area in which the land to which the applications relate are situated.

Applications can be viewed on the Council’s web site: www.redcar-cleveland.gov.uk/Planning and documents downloaded if required. Anyone who wishes to make representations on the above should make them in writing to the Section within 21 days of the date of this publication.
