What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MALTING LANE, BRAUGHING) ORDER NO.2 2024
 NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Malting Lane, Braughing from a point in line with the western boundary of No.1 Malting Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m (“the Road”), except for
access.

An alternative route will be via Malting Lane, B1368 Green End, Ford Street and Malting Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B1502 STANSTEAD ROAD, GREAT AMWELL/RUSH GREEN AND RIVER MEADS, STANSTEAD ABBOTTS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-

1. that length of B1502 Stanstead Road, Great Amwell/Rush Green from its junction with Hoe Lane north westwards to its junction with A414 Rush Green roundabout, a distance of approximately 493m. An alternative route will be via B1502 Stanstead Road, A1170 (Pepper Hill/Amwell Hill/ London Road), A119 (London Road/Hertford Road/Ware Road) and B1502 Stanstead Road.

2. that length of River Meads, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with B181 Station Road north westwards, south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 238m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COLTSFOOT LANE, DATCHWORTH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Coltsfoot Lane, Datchworth from its junction with White Horse Lane north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Bramfield Road, a distance of approximately 1183m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via White Horse Lane, Mardleybury Road, Datchworth Green and Bramfield Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN THE SERVICE ROAD FRONTING NOS.58-102 HIGH STREET (INCLUDING THE LOADING BAY SITUATED ON THE SERVICE ROAD FRONTING NOS.58-102 HIGH STREET), WALTHAM CROSS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the service road fronting Nos.58-102 High Street (including the loading bay situated on the service road fronting Nos.58-102 High Street), Waltham Cross from its junction with High Street eastwards and southwards for a distance of approximately 50m (“the Road”). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B176 HIGH STREET, WALTHAM CROSS/B176 CROSSBROOK STREET, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B176 High Street, Waltham Cross/B176 Crossbrook Street, Cheshunt from its junction with Trinity Lane north westwards to its junction with Theobalds Lane, a distance of approximately 90m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via B176 High Street, A121 Winston Churchill Way, A10 Great Cambridge Road, B198 College Road and B176 (Turners Hill/Crossbrook Street). The Order is needed because bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN HEATH DRIVE, WARE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Heath Drive, Ware from its easternmost junction with Kingsway north westwards for a distance of approximately 240m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Kingsway and Heath Drive.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SMARTS GREEN, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Smarts Green, Cheshunt from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.15 Smarts Green south westwards for a distance of approximately 28m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Smarts Green, Adamsfield and Smarts Green.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 2 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BAAS LANE, BROXBOURNE) ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Baas Lane, Broxbourne from a point 100m north west of its junction with Bell Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 75m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Baas Lane, Bell Lane, A1170 High Road, Grenville Avenue, Trafalgar Avenue, Graham Avenue and Baas Lane.

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Aspenden Road, Buntingford from its junction with London Road south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with The Street, a distance of approximately 857m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via London Road, A10 (unnamed road), Station Road, C16 (unnamed road) and 3U20 (unnamed road).

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Walkern Road, Benington from its junction with Town Lane north eastwards, north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Benington Road, a distance of approximately 2173m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Church Green and Walkern Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY 20MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON VARIOUS ROADS IN HERTFORD, BUNTINGFORD, HERTFORD HEATH, STANSTEAD ABBOTTS AND EASTWICK) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from driving at a speed exceeding 20mph on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), when signs are in place:-

1. that length of A414 Hertingfordbury Road, Hertford from its junction with the A414 Cole Green Bypass/Thieves Lane South roundabout south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Campfield Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 956m.

2. that length of A10 (unnamed road), Buntingford from its junction with the B1368 Buntingford Road/A10 Puckeridge Bypass roundabout north westwards, northwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 2725m.

3. that length of A10 (unnamed road), Hertford Heath from a point 576m south east of its junction with the A10 northbound slip road leading from the A10 (unnamed road) north westwards for a distance of approximately 295m.

4. the A10 northbound slip road leading onto the A414 Rush Green roundabout, Hertford Heath from its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road) north westwards and south westwards to its junction with the A414 Rush Green roundabout, a distance of approximately 428m.

5. that length of A414 Eastwick Road, Stanstead Abbotts/Eastwick from its junction with the A414 eastbound slip road leading from B181 Roydon Road north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with the A414 Fifth Avenue roundabout for a distance of approximately 3970m.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 30 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MANGROVE LANE, BRICKENDON) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Mangrove Lane, Brickendon from its junction with Monks Green Lane north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 1521m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Mangrove Lane, Goose Green Lord Street, Lord Street, Taverners Way, Pauls Lane, Amwell Street, A1170 Amwell Street, B1197 (Hertford Road/London Road), A414 London Road, Mangrove Road and Mangrove Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (PLAW HATCH CLOSE, BISHOP’S STORTFORD) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new waiting restrictions in parts of Bishop’s Stortford as specified in the Schedules to this Notice. The Order will come into effect on Wednesday 10 July 2024.

Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are held on deposit and may be viewed from 27 June 2024 to 8 August 2024 during office hours at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford or online at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting East Herts and looking at Ref: EH00423.
