ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:
Shrubbery Road, Upper Church Road, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order), (Temporary No Waiting or Loading Restriction) Order 2024 Date coming Into Force: 19 August 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-097
Will be to close and restrict, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The exemptions are included for emergency services, works access and works vehicles.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wales & West Utilities to replace gas main. This will become operative on the 19 August 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures and restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to commence 19 August 2024 and be of approximately 15 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs and cones will be displayed when the measures are in force.
Closure Schedule - Shrubbery Road and Upper Church Road at the junction with each other. No Waiting or Loading Restriction on Upper Church Road from outside property number 60 for 20m to the boundary of property number 20 as signs or cones dictate. Footpath Knightcott Road to The Paddock, Banwell, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Pedestrians & Cyclists Order 2024 Date coming Into Force: 12 August 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-119
Will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians and cyclists the lengths of footpath specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of footpath.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wales & West Utilities to replace a gas main. This will become operative on the 12 August 2024 for a maximum period of six months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 12 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Locking Head Drove, Locking, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by All Traffic Order 2024 Date coming Into Force: 5 August 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-090
Will be to close, temporarily, to all traffic the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wessex Water to undertake water mains work. This will become operative on the 5 August 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 33 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Crookes Lane, Kewstoke, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024 Date coming Into Force: 13 August 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-121
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wales & West Utilities to repairs to defective reinstatement. This will become operative on the 13 August 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 9am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

East Hewish Lane, Hewish, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024 Date coming Into Force: 5 August 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-133
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd for Signal and Telecoms Testing. This will become operative on the 5 August 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 night in duration between 10pm and 6am. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

FINAL NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER Coniston Crescent, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024 Date coming Into Force: 8 July 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-103
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach for new ducting and joint box. This will become operative on the 8 July 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Notice of Intent Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Parking Places (Consolidation) Order 2022 (Variation No.13) Order 2024 - Ref: DRB/2410/2024
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council propose to make an order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of the order shall be to amend parking restrictions (yellow lines), waiting, loading, and stopping in Weston-Super-Mare, Portishead, Long Ashton, Churchill, and Winscombe Parish Council areas. The extent of the proposals are described in the Schedule to this Notice which are split into the Parish Council Boundaries.
