ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(CO-OPERATIVE STREET, HORBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 137) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has
made an Order on traffic management grounds to expose apparatus in the
carriageway and install a new chamber if required to be carried out as
follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Co-operative Street, Horbury for approximately
50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their
junctions the closed length of Co-operative Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Co-operative Street, Highfield Road, High Street
& vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 3rd July 2024 to 5th July 2024,
or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained
whenever possible.
(JENKIN ROAD, HORBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 138) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has
made an Order on traffic management grounds to expose apparatus in the
carriageway and install a new chamber if required to be carried out as
follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Jenkin Road, Horbury for approximately 30 metres.
The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions
the closed length of Jenkin Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Jenkin Road, Park Street, Highfield Road, High
Street & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 3rd July 2024 to 5th July 2024,
or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained
whenever possible.
(BOTTOM BOAT ROAD, STANLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 139) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has
made an Order on traffic management grounds for installation of a new
water pipe to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Bottom Boat Road, Stanley. The Order shall also
have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of
Bottom Boat Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A. Road plates to be used for residents.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 1st July 2024 to 3rd July 2024,
or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained
whenever possible.
(RUSKIN AVENUE, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 145) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend
to make an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole cover
& frame to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Ruskin Avenue, Wakefield for approximately
100 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their
junctions the closed length of Ruskin Avenue.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion, emergency access maintained.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 16th July 2024 between
19.00 hours and 23.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever
is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained
whenever possible.
(WESTFIELD ROAD, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 147) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend
to make an Order on traffic management grounds to remove water mains
connection to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Westfield Road, Wakefield. The Order shall also
have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length
of Westfield Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Westfield Road, Northgate, Marsh Way, Lower York
Street, Saville Street, College Grove Road, Westfield Road & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 15th July 2024 at 08.00 hours
to 17th July 2024 at 20.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever
is soonest.
(THORNHILL STREET, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 148) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend
to make an Order on traffic management grounds for new supply
connection to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Thornhill Street, Wakefield for approximately
20 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their
junctions the closed length of Thornhill Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Route 1 – Thornhill Street, George Street, Denby
Dale Road, Ings Road, Grove Street, Grove Road.
Route 2 – Thornhill Street, Grove Road, Grove Street, Ings Road, A61
Kirkgate, George Street.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 17th July 2024 at 08.00 hours
to 19th July 2024 at 18.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever
is soonest.
