Patching Works, Mansfield - Temporary Prohibition of Driving to Carry Out Large Scale Patching Repairs
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PATCHING WORKS, MANSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024 (M24-095)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Mansfield in the District of Mansfield.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road in paragraph 3:
2. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading (Both sides, 08:00-15:30) in the following length of road in paragraph 3: -
3. a. Bosworth Street - for its full length of road.
b. Bramley Walk - from its junction with Birks Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 65 metres.
c. Armstrong Road - for its full length of road.
4. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
5. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
Bosworth Street-
From 08:00 hours on Tuesday 2nd July 2024
Until 15:30 hours Monday 8th July 2024
Bramley Walk- From 08:30 hours on Tuesday 9th July 2024
Until 15:30 hours on Wednesday 10th July 2024
Armstrong Road- From 08:00 hours until 15:30 hours on Thursday 11th July 2024
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be: Bosworth Street - Brick Kiln Lane - Ladybrook Lane and vice versa.
Bramley Walk - Briks Road - Armstrong Road - Simpson Road and vice versa.
Armstrong Road - Bramley Walk - Briks Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into force on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out.
The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
